Privacy Policy
Sense of Wonder Studios LLC ("we", "us", "our") makes small games and publishes them as Super Duper Intelligent Games on the web, the App Store, Google Play, Steam and selected game portals. This policy says what data those games and this website handle, why, who else is involved, and what you can do about it. It is written for players. If anything here is unclear, write to us at hello@superduperintelligent.games.
The short version. Our games have no accounts and no sign-in. Your progress is saved on your device. We never ask for your name, email address, contacts, photos, microphone, camera or precise location. The free mobile games show ads and sell optional items, and the services behind ads, purchases, analytics and crash reports receive device-level data described below. Our Steam games have no ads, no in-game purchases and no ad or purchase software inside them. We do not sell personal data. You can turn analytics off in every game's Settings screen, and manage ad consent there too.
1. Who this policy covers
- Players of our games, wherever you play them: our own website, the App Store (iOS), Google Play (Android), Steam, and game portals that carry our web games.
- Visitors to superduperintelligent.games.
2. What we collect, and where
2.1 In every game, on your device
Your progress, settings and purchases are stored on your device (and in Steam Cloud, if you have it on, for Steam games). On first launch the game creates a random player id, saves it with your progress and shows the first characters of it on the Settings screen as "Player …". It is not linked to your name, an email address or any account. It is the key we use with the services below, and the key you give us if you want something deleted (section 8).
2.2 Analytics (all platforms, when it is on)
We use Firebase Analytics, a Google service, to see where players stop and what to fix. It receives events about play (a level started, a round ended, an ad watched, a purchase made), the app version, your device model and operating system version, your language, a country derived from your IP address, an app instance id Google assigns, and the player id. We do not send names, emails or free text.
Analytics runs only after you say yes: every game asks once, on its first start, on every platform. You can change your answer any time under Settings → "Analytics"; the change applies from the next launch.
2.3 Crash reports (mobile)
Firebase Crashlytics (Google) receives crash and error logs: what went wrong, the device model, operating system, free memory, app version and the time. They are tied to the app instance id, not to your name.
2.4 Remote configuration (mobile and web)
Firebase Remote Config (Google) lets us adjust tuning values (for example, how often an ad may appear) without an update. The request carries the app instance id, device and version information.
2.5 Ads (free mobile games only)
Our free mobile games show ads through Google AdMob and the ad networks it works with. Ads are rewarded videos you choose to watch for an in-game reward, and occasional full-screen ads between rounds. The ad services receive:
- your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Google advertising ID on Android), only where you allow it;
- your IP address and a coarse location derived from it;
- device model, operating system, language and the app's identifier;
- how you interact with ads (views, clicks, completed rewarded ads).
Where consent is required (the EEA, the UK and Switzerland), Google's consent form appears before any ad is requested, and you can change your choice at any time in Settings → "Ad privacy options". On iOS, the App Tracking Transparency prompt decides whether the advertising identifier is shared; if you decline, ads still show but are not personalised. On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID in the device's settings. The list of ad partners is in the consent form and in Google's AdMob partner documentation.
Payers see no full-screen ads. No ad network ever receives your progress, your purchases or your player id from us.
2.6 Purchases (free mobile games only)
Purchases are made through Apple or Google. We never see your card or bank details. We use RevenueCat to validate purchases and restore them; it receives the store's purchase receipt or transaction identifier, the product bought, price and currency, your player id, and app and device information. Consumable items (for example, a pack of in-game currency) exist only on the device that bought them; the shop says so, and reinstalling loses them. Non-consumable purchases (for example, removing ads) can be restored with the "Restore purchases" button.
2.7 Steam
Our Steam games are paid games with no ads, no in-game purchases and no ad or purchase software inside them. Steam gives the game your Steam ID so achievements and Steam Cloud saves work; Valve's privacy policy covers Steam itself. Analytics (2.2) runs only if you say yes when the game first starts.
2.8 The web
Games on our own site are served by Cloudflare, whose infrastructure keeps short-lived request logs (IP address, requested page, browser type) for delivery and security. There are no ads on our own site. When you play one of our games on a game portal (for example Poki or CrazyGames), the portal's own software and privacy policy apply, including its ads and any sign-in you use there; the portal does not pass personal data to us.
2.9 Notifications (mobile)
If you allow notifications, a game schedules reminders on your device itself. There is no notification server and no device token leaves your phone.
2.10 This website
superduperintelligent.games is a set of static pages served by Cloudflare. We set no cookies and run no analytics on it.
2.11 When you write to us
We keep your email address and your message for as long as it takes to answer you and handle any follow-up, and no longer than 12 months.
3. What we do not do
- No accounts, passwords or sign-in of any kind.
- No selling of personal data, no data brokers, no advertising profiles of our own.
- No access to contacts, photos, microphone, camera or precise location.
- No tracking across other companies' apps beyond what the advertising identifier allows with your permission.
- No chat, no friends lists, no user-generated content in our games.
- The AI tools we use to make our games are not trained on player data, and player data is never sent to them.
4. Why we process data
- To run the game you asked for (performance of a contract): saving progress, delivering purchases, restoring them.
- With your consent: personalised ads, the advertising identifier on iOS, analytics where consent is required.
- Our legitimate interests: fixing crashes, preventing fraud and abuse, keeping the service secure, and measuring whether a game works so we can improve it. Where this applies we keep the data to what those purposes need.
5. Who receives data
| Provider | What for | Where you play |
|---|---|---|
| Google (Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config) | Analytics, crash reports, tuning values | Mobile, web, Steam (analytics only, after opt-in) |
| Google AdMob and its partner ad networks | Serving and measuring ads; consent management | Free mobile games |
| RevenueCat | Validating and restoring purchases | Free mobile games |
| Apple (App Store), Google (Google Play) | Distribution, payments, their own platform services | Mobile |
| Valve (Steam) | Distribution, payments, achievements, cloud saves | Steam |
| Cloudflare | Hosting and network delivery | Web, this site |
| Game portals | Hosting and their own ads, under their own policies | Portals |
These providers act on our instructions or as platforms under their own published policies. We do not sell data to anyone. We will disclose data if required by law, a court order or a regulator.
6. How long we keep it
| Data | Kept |
|---|---|
| Progress, settings and the player id on your device | Until you delete the game (Steam Cloud: until you clear it on Steam) |
| Analytics events tied to a player | Google's default retention for Firebase Analytics, currently two months; aggregated statistics that identify no one are kept longer |
| Crash reports | 90 days |
| Purchase records | As long as needed to support your purchase, and as tax and accounting law require |
| Ad data | By Google under its advertising policies; we hold none ourselves |
| Website and game delivery logs | Briefly, by Cloudflare, for security |
| Support emails | Up to 12 months |
7. Your choices inside the game
- Settings → Analytics: on or off, any time; applies from the next launch.
- Settings → Ad privacy options (free mobile games, where consent applies): change or withdraw ad consent.
- iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking controls the advertising identifier per app. Android: Settings → Google → Ads lets you reset or delete the advertising ID.
- Deleting the game removes your progress and player id from the device.
8. Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us what data we hold about your player id, ask us to correct or delete it, object to our processing, or ask us to restrict it. In the EEA and the UK you also have the right to data portability and to complain to your supervisory authority. In California, we do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA, and we never treat anyone differently for exercising their rights.
To make a request, email hello@superduperintelligent.games with the game's name, the platform, and the player id shown on the game's Settings screen. Because there is no account, that id is how we find and verify what is yours; without it we can still delete what you describe to us by date and platform, as far as the providers above allow. We answer within 15 business days and complete verified deletions within 30 days. Ad data held by Google is managed through the controls in section 7 and through Google's ad settings.
9. Security
We run no servers of our own that hold player data; the providers above hold what they receive under their own security programmes. All traffic between the games, this site and those providers is encrypted in transit. Access to our provider dashboards is limited to the people who make the games. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects personal data, we will notify the people and regulators the law requires.
10. Children
Our games are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. Each game carries the age rating its stores assign. Where a game may reach children (for example on a game portal with a young audience), it runs without personalised ads, without the tracking prompt, without outbound links, and with purchases behind the platform's parental controls. If you believe a child has given us personal data, write to us and we will delete it.
11. International transfers
We are in the United States, and so are the providers listed above. Data about players in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland is transferred under those providers' standard contractual clauses and equivalent safeguards.
12. Changes
We date every version of this policy at the top and keep it at this address. If a change materially affects how a game handles your data, the game's store listing and release notes will say so.
